This is the neck pickup we longed for in modern G-style guitars for aeons...
They aren’t as silent as a true hum cancelling design, but the shielding is excellent, so the noise floor is lower than your average single coil. We wanted something flexible that would at least feign accountability to the innate timbre of the instrument. We’re talkin’ kinda-sorta-flat frequency response with excellent high and low extension, and touch sensitive dynamics that boil over into and an addictive burble and grind with more aggressive right hand technique.
